Looks like our wonderful Democratic senators--current and would-be--continue to not only NOT support Russ Feingold's call for censure, but to criticize him and it openly with a series of lame and transparent excuses, not the least of which reinforces right-wing talking points about how it only helps Republican and hurts Democrats.
With "Democrats" like these "leading" the party, who needs Republicans? I really have to wonder about their fitness to hold elected office and represent us if they continue to say and especially believe this crap. Who do they really represent? Us? The Party? The country? The Constitution? Or just themselves?
The just do not get it. They simply will not get it. They clearly will not get it. UNLESS we continue to push, prod and pressure them loudly, clearly and continually. If we want to take back congress, the white house and country, and fix the mess that Bush and the GOP have made of it, then clearly, we have to also take back our party.
